People Want Solutions

There is a huge gathering. It is a gathering of ordinary people. Different people united by a common challenge. The desire to find a solution. People have learned that they have problems. They are facing complex problems. Issues that are beyond their capacity. And they have also learned that they cannot solve these problems. The types of problems they are facing are difficult. Most of these people have identified that there is something wrong going on in their lives. However, they do not understand how they got into the problem in the first place. And after coming to terms with all these realities. They have decided to seek a second opinion. Because they fully know that they are not crazy. There is something wrong. And people want to understand the wrong. Because the wrong in their lives is making them uncomfortable.

So one person woke up early one morning. And decided to pursue a solution. That one person had heard of someone who could help. And after declaring that enough is enough. The individual finally found courage and went out. This individual had a simple objective. To get to the bottom of what is interfering and causing a lot of pain. That simple objective alone was enough reason to wake up early and go. The quest to find answers can sometimes be enough motivation for determined people to overcome fear. And even push themselves beyond ordinary. In that moment, it is not about petty egos. When the pain has intensified, relief in a far distance sounds better. And someone who is really interested in a solution will do anything to get out of pain. That is why that one person woke up early and went to find answers.

Pain and frustration are messing up life. And the individual can no longer tolerate them. This individual is genuine. The person does not want pain. He cannot suffer when the problem has a solution. And he/she must be commended for thinking this way. You don’t have to suffer when you can fight for your survival. If survival is worth it, then go for your freedom. So this individual traveled where he could find help. And when the person arrived. He was shocked. There were many people already there. It was not just this individual who was suffering. There were thousands others who were going through similar circumstances. And they had all decided at different stages of their lives that enough is enough. And they went out to seek solutions. From the same person they heard can help. The emphasis is on the word ‘heard.’

That one person and thousand others have heard about this expert for some time. They have seen what this helper can do. The helper has demonstrated over time that he is capable and qualified for this kind of job. He can handle the complex issues that people present. The helper not only capable but also committed enought to get to the underlying causes of the complex problems affecting people. Problems that have stolen these people’s dignities. This is fascinating. This kind of revelation is refreshing to the ears and minds of people suffering. The news looks like relief. Something that they have been looking and desiring for a long time. These people just want their normal lives back. They want peace and smooth operations. That is what they used to enjoy before their lives took unlikely twist. And they hate the twist. The turn is disheartening.

And they have witnessed firsthand how complex problems can rob joy and meaning of life out of people. These people know that a bad unresolved problem changes people. It makes people who they are not. And they don’t want anything to do with that. The new terrible twist is something they cannot accept in their ordinary lives. They know that they deserve better. That there is something good at the end of this fight. And the helper has just confirmed their speculations. He can help them. They can finally get out of their misery. That kind of message is what most of these people woke up for. They wanted a second opinion. And now the opinion has validated their decisions. They knew they were not crazy. Strange things were happening in their lives. Things that they could not explain. Yet, they were feeling their negative impact.

From the beginning, this gathering was looking for a leader. Someone who could offer direction. Someone who knows better than they do. One that can lead when ordinary people don’t know what to do. The gathering wanted to trust someone. A person that they thought had their best interest at heart. The type of a leader the crowd was looking for was a people-oriented leader. A problem-solver. A kind of an oracle. That is all that they wanted. A shepherd who could help them come out of their dark phases. It was that straight forward. People were suffering and they went out to find solutions. They went to find their answers from the right person based on their judgment. Their judgment was based on what they had heard or maybe seen. Other people who had similar problems as this gathering consulted the helper and they found relief.

The thousands wanted that relief too. They wanted the joy of living back in their lives. That is why they took the risk. And traveled for their solutions. They took those long journeys even when the helper remained unverified. However, that was not their issue. Their focus is on finding answers. Therefore, whether the helper is verified or not. The crowd does not care.  What it cares about is the solutions that the helper said can provide. Everything else is irrelevant right now. The people that travelled are concerned about the uncertainties in their lives. They don’t want to continue living this way because they have dreams and responsibilities. People want stability. People want progress. They want joy and comfort. People want to live unburdened. So they will get their solutions. Whether the helper is a true shepherd or not.

They are hungry now and they want their food now. And the helper knows that too. The helper knows that they wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t important. And since the issues they have presented are familiar. The helper said he would help them. He recognizes what is going on and he will fix it. And he receives a standing ovation from the crowd. This is the hope they were looking for. Finally, someone is listening. The right person for the job. An experienced person for that matter. This individual has a lot of testimonials. He has helped a lot of people pick up the pieces. He has saved lives that were almost ending. So what can’t the helper do? He is the expert. He is built for such moments. Positioned for these types of problems. In fact, this is what the helper’s practice is all about. Solve complex problems for people.

And with change of time. People have grown to trust him. They trust the methods he uses to fix their problems. And it does not matter whether the methods look undignified to some extent. People have suffered enough. And they don’t care about the methods. People care about being free. If the helper can get the problem out. By all means. Do as you wish. People want the discomfort out of their lives. And at this time. They are willing to do anything to get their problems solved. Whether the price is a pound of flesh or a shekel. People will follow the direction of the helper. If that is what they must do to get better. They will do it. They have been down for a long time. Enough is enough. People want emancipation. And the fee of the helper is not a problem. They trust this person. And they are letting him in during their most vulnerable moments.

The huge gathering is breaking history. They are shocking even themselves. The things that they are doing right now. They have never done them before. Waking up early to seek solutions from someone else is one of their wildest dreams. They never thought they will do something like that. However, when pain became unbearable. They had no choice. They had to do something. They refused to go down without a fight. And that is how they ended up at the helper’s door. And now the helper is in charge. The helper will do as he wishes with them. Because after all, their survival depends on his skills. And for the crowd to get their normal lives back. They will have to dance to the music of the helper. Regardless of the nature of the beats or lyrics. What began as one person hearing about someone who can help has now culminated in a gathering.

The gathering is looking for a leader. Other people too, who are not part of this crowd also want a leader. People have problems. And they are looking for somewhere safe they can plug themselves. However, who is the leader? Do places they are plugging themselves into really safe? Are the people seeking the right solutions? Is the crowd trusting the right person? Are you trusting the right things? At face value. People can say a lot of things. You can see a lot of capable people out here. Actually, at face value. Almost anyone is capable. And in real life. Problems will always come. Problems will come even when you haven’t done anything to warrant them. As long as, life is still panning out. Challenges will always be part of the deal. Come to terms with this fact. And develop your restraint. You need wisdom. Especially when you are going through a difficult time. I know you are hungry. But don’t open doors you cannot shut. The reason everyone heard about the same person is because; the helper knows people are hungry. And created a perfect path. The mere fact that anyone can walk on that path. Does not mean everyone will walk out with a solution.
