It Wasn’t Your Reputation or Career

You got to see right guys. Look at this imagery. If anyone destroys your beautiful blossoming vineyard. That produces its fruits on time every harvest season. Do you think. The target of that person was just to take away your economic pillars, which you have worked very hard to establish? If today, you lose everything you have worked for. Do you still think the enemy just targeted your reputation or career? Of course not. Your career, reputation, business, or farm are just the access points. And the attacker identified something that will surely break you. People work so hard to build a tall building. However, if some fools decide one day that they want to destroy that tall building. It will not take them years to destroy. It will be a matter of days, weeks, or months. Depending on the architectural design applied to the building.  

And when a deceitful, harmful, and disastrous destruction happen. And you lose the produce of your vineyard that season. Or a tall building is brought down in a given city. Doesn’t that destruction stop people in their tracks? Especially if you were a well-known wine produce in your country. Now, sum up the impact of that destruction. And the type of shock it comes with. Will you still be standing? Will your cry be “I have lost the source of my income,’ or will the cry be the one that no one sees? How will the entire ordeal make you feel? And this is actually where your enemy beats your intelligence. He is one step ahead of you. When the attacker makes people stop in their tracks with their mouths wide open. The enemy has not just hurt you. The attacker has stolen something valuable from you. Something that will take you a long time to restore.

And even in some circumstances never earn it back at all. Sudden losses don’t just shock people. They make people lose themselves in the mind. That is always the target of any smart thief. This type of thief is not interested in the obvious visible losses. The thief knows that for sure. You will lose your income, your reputation, business, or a beautiful career. All these are visible losses that most people will pay attention towards. Even with these physical losses. The enemy will celebrate. He will celebrate because he has introduced a new ugly dynamic to your life. First the attacker has slowed you down. He knows that once a beautiful vineyard has been attacked. No major activities will take place in that field. Because everyone will want to know what happened and how did it happen. Now, the attention will go towards understanding the whole ordeal.    

Dissect The Enemy

That is win number one for the enemy. Nothing is going on that will result in a beautiful vineyard producing its produce in season any time soon. The second win the enemy will celebrate is disorientation. You had a formula of how you operated your farm, business, or career. However, courtesy of the thief. The formula is no longer relevant. Because you are dealing with a destruction. One that you had not imagined. The attack was sudden. It happened when everyone had put their head down. And workflow was flowing so well. No one including yourself had anticipated a destruction. Therefore, the confusion that comes with this loss will surely devastate you. The attacker will be happy because he has confused everyone. From my business point of view. It takes time to think up a new strategy. Recoup finances, come back, and run the business the same way it was running before the attack.     

It just never happens the following day. The enemy will celebrate how long it will take you to recover. And if he hit the jugular. The celebration will even be bigger.  Because you might not recover at all. The enemy is surely collecting points. And the third win that the enemy will still celebrate; is taking you out of the game. You are no longer in charge. He has interfered with your leadership. For example, if you were a major producer in town. After the loss. And nothing major is happening at the vineyard. You will surely lose your customers. Even a loyal customer will worry about supply. At this point, the enemy has collected enough points. And he is on top of the charts. But there is the final celebration. And this one comes with a lot of points. It is the mess that the destruction will do to your brain. The mess to the brain will be the tears that no one sees.

Because the attack not only destroyed the good physical attributes of a successful career or business. The attack also affected your psychology. Things will not remain the same. Your mourning will not just be the income lost or the businesses lost. But also about how the entire ordeal will unfold inside your mind. If the enemy indeed touched the core areas of your career or business. You will lose yourself in the mind. That will be the biggest win for the attacker. Because a smart thief knows that once the mind is distorted. It will be difficult to recover what is lost. It is at this final win that a smart thief silences you completely. Because there are a lot of what ifs. What if you won’t stop mourning? It means the beautiful vineyard might not come back to life. The enemy just crippled you psychologically. This is where he collects 100 points for masterminding a successful destruction that not only shocked everyone but also silenced you mentally.

It Was Your Psychology at stake

After this final win. The thief, the attacker, the enemy, or former friend will walk away. This person will be very confident the job has been done. You will no longer have a successful business or career. Your life will somehow be almost over as you know it. The target of any theft or destruction is not always about people stealing what they do not deserve. The focus in most occasion, is the damage done to the mind. Losing everything you have worked for suddenly will affect your mind. The loss brings worries in your life. You are no longer sure about the future. Because you are not even sure that going back to the drawing board will result in a beautiful vineyard. The enemy would have robbed you of something valuable. Your peace of mind. And once you are worried and anxious about so many things. Your rebuilding will not be hinged on the right foundation.   

Because it will be slower than the beginning when you had mapped out everything. This is what smart thieves come to do. To mess up with your mind. They want you to have a war within yourself. Because when you are not calm. You don’t think clearly. You are disrupted. Your focus is not 100 pure. Your confident is not 100 pure. Your focus and confidence are wounded. Your energy is not 100 percent. Your finances are also not 100 percent. Because you will have to worry about spending all your savings. To rebuild a career that might not level up to your initial success. Something was robbed from you. Your wholeness was tattered. Right now. Even if you are gathering strength and courage. Everything looks difficult. Because more effort is needed in everything. Because at some point. You will struggle with things you used to do effortlessly.

That is why you got to see right. When you suspect something. Don’t just perceive it in the physical. See the whole bigger. See a passive aggressive gesture can do to you. The person doing it might not be as smart. But be smart about everything. Ordinary threats, which look like nothing are actually something. Don’t wait for the fall. Look at the risks when they haven’t announced themselves as risks. Protect your most valuable things. Never give access to anyone. Don’t allow people or things to temper with your mind. Make it nonnegotiable. No one or nothing goes past your face. Build a fortified wall around your head. And agree that your psychology remains pure. Even under your worst attack. Don’t give the enemy 100 points. See right. The target was to get you. To fight against yourself. Don’t fall too fast. Sit well in your leadership seat. Don’t work with distractions. Live with clarity all the time.
