Write down everything you feel like doing when angry. Does being angry make you want to hurt other people? What goes on in your mind the moment you are triggered? Journal everything. By the time you would have finished discussing what is going on in your thoughts and feelings. You will be good. The anger will have gone. The strong emotions will have gone. There will be no lashing, shouting, or cussing. All the toxicity would have been captured on the journal. The journaling activity would have helped you to talk about your anger problem. This resource will help you to release bad emotions. And you would not be negatively affected as you would have kept all those feelings and emotions inside. Journaling will help you to open up and speak about things that matter, and concern you. Through journaling, you will learn what triggers your emotions.

And once you get to understand things that provoke you. You learn to take back control. You identify things and people that anger you and how they do it. These are important insights. The intelligence you collected after journaling will shape your next action. In the future, instead of going rogue when angry. You will learn to slow down. To be more in charge not the people or things that provoke you. One of the most visible aspect of journaling is the power it gives you to talk. Just sitting down and writing about everything that concerns you. Your worries. Your progress. Your failures. Everything that you deem important. Journaling helps you capture your thoughts and what is going on in your mind. If you embrace this tool and use it every day, you will experience tremendous change in your life.

You will become a rational objective thinker. Who will understand that to achieve what you want, hard work will be needed. You will have to sacrifice your comfort zone. You will need to roll your sleeves and get things done. You will have to prioritize what goes first and what follows. You will need to learn everything that goes into getting something from the ground up. You will learn what it means to pay the price. You will also learn what taking the right steps means. There will be no room for laziness.

Setting goals is an everyday activity. You must know where you are going and how you are going. You just don’t wake up and go. You must have a plan of how you are going. Cost every step in your journey. Know your beginning and your ending. Learn what each stage will cost you. How much energy will you need to begin and how much energy will you need to finish. Set goals for every step in your important matters. Seek to understand how you begin and end your project. Whatever it is that you are interested to accomplish, learn all the steps. Have some reasons why you are doing it. What does doing it means to you? What are you looking to achieve? And what will, achieving it make you feel? Think about all these things. Don’t be just busy because everyone else is busy. Have a reason for your busy. Have some reason why you are waking up in the middle of the night to do certain things.

Set goals for every step in your important project or matter. Begin by defining why you want to participate in the project. List all the benefits that completing the project will bring to you. Now address the elephant in the room. How much will it cost from beginning to end? Come to terms with each cost. And after you have spent some time with the cost. Ask yourself if, you can afford it now. And if you learn that you cannot afford it now. What are you going to do to afford it now. If, the project must be completed in the next few months. Are you willing to shoulder the heavy weight? Do you have the energy? What are you going to do? Think about everything. And only proceed when you are sure of what you are doing. That is what goal setting does to you. It helps you to justify why some actions are needed now or not needed at all. You must have a reason before taking on any project.
