Where Are the real Learners?

We have a big world. With a lot of people. And a lot of different things going on. You see a lot in a typical day. People passing. People talking. People traveling. In all this busyness. A lot is also shared. Just look at the internet. It is a heap of some much information. You can’t even tell the beginning or the end. The internet is always on the move. People speaking so many things at the same time.  In this big world. It is not lack of information, which is the problem. The problem is having so many people seeing everything. And talking at the same time. There is confusion. Some confuse seeing everything as learning. But this is the real problem. Modern society is running out of real learners. Moreover, modern society has so many ignorant people. Ignorant not because they are starved. But ignorant because they are overfed. The internet has constipated a lot of people. And people have confused that constipation with knowledge.      

People have filled their minds with rubbish. There is a lot of unnecessary information in the hands and minds of people. And since, the internet is a heap of so many things. Some people are consuming everything. And that habit of consuming everything alone. Has made so many people lazy. But given the rate at which people are getting confused and poisoned at the same time. You need to empty yourself. If you must be filled. An empty space will be needed. Real education requires emptying of self. Put aside what you think you know. And put yourself in a position where you need more. yearn for good information. Hunger for correct knowledge. Knowledge, which is not presented with errors and assumptions. That is actually the only way. You will receive new things. Valuable things. Things that will change your life. Information that will elevate you. If you are looking for promotion. This is what you need to do. To empty yourself. Remove junk. Throw out the unnecessary. There is a difference between trends and the truth. Separate the two. And yearn for the later. That is what makes the difference.

There is nothing wrong with knowing what is happening in one corner of the earth to the other. There is also nothing wrong with visiting the internet. It is a good place. If you understand the best practices. However, the internet is not a good place if you are just learning about it. Get guidance, especially if you are a teenager. But what is emptying? Emptying yourself is knowing your limits. It is having the knowledge that you are worth a lot. But still choosing the position of a slave. That you deserve the throne. Yet, you don’t compete with the current holder. In fact, you don’t compete at all. And instead, create an empty space in you, which can be filled. That is how you learn new things. You must be willing to let some things go. You must make yourself available for new things. New things, which are meant to give you real progress. Emptying only works when one desires it.

You must desire change to have that change. You must be willing to sacrifice.  The key ingredient here is, being willing. That is how you empty yourself. By willing to empty things that you don’t need right now. Knowing what everyone knows. Will make you relevant. And at the same time. Get you so many people to speak with. Because you will easily find a common theme. But again. What is the point of knowing what everyone else knows? The internet can help with this part. It can make you current. Really updated. And having all this information might confuse you. You might think that you know a lot or have everything. But that is not the truth. All that the internet helps you to learn can be classified as general knowledge. A lot of people have general information. They have a rough idea about a number of things.

But you need to go past general information. If you must make real progress. General knowledge will not get the job done. Real change comes from a place of deep conviction. General knowledge might not lead you there. Go past drinking milk alone. Start eating bones. Start getting information that makes you objective. Move past mediocrity. Entertainment can only get you so far. Comedy can make you laugh a lot. However, when the time comes for real stuff. Stuff that solve problems. You will need real information. Prepare yourself for real life. Real life is more than eating bones. It requires genuineness. And being genuine requires courage. Getting to a position where you need more. Calls for honesty. It is only when you are honest that you see inadequacies. Being open helps you to see cracks.

Go The Honest Way

Get to the level of honesty. See what is not working. And discard it. Remove as much waste as you can. Old dangerous habits. Outdated practices. Polarizing standpoints. Get rid of them. Go deeper and look into your mind. What is in there that is not needed? Get everything, which comes across as unnecessary out of your mind. Empty as much areas of your life as possible. Empty yourself using honesty. Sit down with your life and examine it. What is working? What is not working? Where are you stuck? Note everything that needs improvement. Then remove everything in those areas that does not help you. Seek new knowledge. Find the right information. Don’t eat what everyone is eating. Look for specific information. Niche knowledge. Knowledge that tackles a specific thing. Go past general knowledge.

Don’t get constipated. Find real wisdom. Knowledge fit for real life. Fix your petty ego. You don’t have to be emotionally attached to everything. You must mature at one point. And learn that not everyone, who points out wrong things in you is attacking you. It takes courage to speak the truth. So learn to be grateful when something you don’t like is mentioned. Don’t run away from the truth. Grow from it. Accept correction.

It is for your own good. Don’t fight the messenger. Instead, take a moment and reflect on the issue. You might not like the truth. However, progress reminds you to look at that truth. Even when you don’t like it. That is the only correct way to solve a problem. Don’t treat chronic conditions with painkillers. Go for the real diagnosis. Understand what you are suffering from and match that problem with the right solution.

Emptying yourself requires vulnerability. You move from a place of a prince or princess to the place of a slave. Submitting yourself to the position of a slave demands courage. That humility is what modern society lacks. We don’t have many courageous people. Majority choose conformity. Many choose relevance. But conformity and relevance do not solve problems. Admitting that you need help demands courage, humility, and openness. You must see the problem first. You must learn the nature of the problem. Is it acute? This is what you need to do with your own life. Find areas, which need to be fed. Areas that are lacking. Go inside your heart. Get hatred out. Get pretense out. Throw away arrogance. Get darkness out of your heart. Learn honesty. We have a long way to go. Empty yourself. The future has so many good things you need to know. However, you will not get new inside if every space is occupied. You need to start calling some things vanity. I know this process is hard. But find courage. Empty yourself.
