Improve Yourself
The
year has opened up so well. I am using the word, ‘so well’ temporarily because I
do not know your actual situation right now. But so well here, means another
new opportunity to carry out some elements of self-improvement. Make a decision
to improve yourself. Make a choice to work out some things about you that you
don’t like. Work for your self-improvement. Life could be happening the way it wants.
You know, with turns and twists. With uncertainties. You cannot predict
anything correctly right now. You basically don’t know, how the following day
is going to turn out. And that should not scare you. Actually, it is not your
job to decide how tomorrow should look like. Your biggest responsibility, which
should be your job and concern is to live in the moment. Make good use of
today. Today is your blessing. See the blessing in the day.
Take your mind off tomorrow. Plan for today. Develop a schedule for today that factors your most important things. One of those things should be self-improvement. There is something about you that you don’t like. A habit that is cropping up from somewhere that you don’t like. Maybe, you took time, some time back and audited your life. You defined who you are and your values. But life has been happening. Some uncomfortable parts of life have been testing you. Trying to push you out of your bearing. The ups and downs of life wants you to lose your direction. Someone wants you in your old habits. Something wants you to fall. And you have been trying hard to avoid these pressures. You want to make progress. You want to be a better person. You want to live your truth.
You want to find you, and do things that are you. You are looking for self-improvement. It is your goal to improve you. But you are facing challenges. If, self-improvement is what you are looking for this year, this is the time. This is the day. Make it happen. Commit to improving. Get over things that are not you. Give up the company that no longer makes sense. This group does not fit into your goals anymore. Recheck friendships you have been building along the years. Shed off some people. People that are creating obstacles. Your life is more important than some things. If, you feel that there is something that is pulling you back and you have identified that thing, walk away from it. The year is still young. Something new will happen along the way. You will find divine friends and opportunities ahead. Let go.
Improve yourself. And the best way to achieve your desired self-improvement goal is to make up your mind. Decide to change. Stop doing things that you don’t like. Stop hanging in places you don’t like. Do not encourage friendships or familiarize yourself with people you consider not good for you. Don’t grow those relationships. Don’t encourage the habit that you don’t want to nurture. Habits that are not you. Things that do not sum up your truth. Don’t live fake. Live you. Do things that are you. Find courage to let go of things that make you a bad human being. After making up your mind to change, identify things that you want to change. Life is massive. And there are so many things that happen concurrently in life. You can easily get lost. You can lose your focus. So, allow change in your mind.
Name the Change
You
want to be better. But to be better, you need to know what you want to
self-improve. There are so many areas you can change. So many little areas to
change. Start with your attitude. Life is open. Life is abundant. Life is rich.
Life has everything you need. Do not be prejudiced. Don’t classify people by
merely looking at them. Go for the truth about people. The truth that you learn
yourself not the rumors that you hear. Seek knowledge about things. Don’t work
with assumptions. Assumptions will prevent you from knowing people for who they
are. Assumptions will prevent you from knowing the truth. You will miss the
blessing in the day. Ask. If, you don’t know something. Ask for associations you
think will be beneficial to you. Change your attitude towards people and
things. Always go for the truth.
Name the change. Is it insecurity? Fear of the unknown, being in control, pretense, pleasing, or lack of confidence. All these things. Name one that affects you. And focus on the change. Go for this self-improvement. Decide that you want to get rid of this issue. You want to break free from fear of the unknown. You want to enjoy life. You want to focus on today. You want to pay attention to things that are happening in your life now. So one of the things that you are going to stop doing is worrying. Stop worrying. Nothing bad is going to happen. Your life is secure. You are going to be okay. It is not your call to determine the future. There is someone who does that job excellently. And that person is in control. So don’t get depressed about the future. You have a life today. Focus on the things that are in front of you.
Wake up every morning with hope. Hope that you are better equipped to face this life. You have everything you need. You can become anything you want to become. You have the ability to become anything you want. Just decide what you want to become. Focus on the positives of life. Don’t allow your mind to get used to negativity. Pull your mind away from negativity. Uproot your mind from focusing on the wrong things. Win over fear of unknown with setting your mind up for success. Teach your mind to enjoy life in the moment. To focus on the moment. Focus on your career, your family if, you have one, and dreams that you want to accomplish. There are things that you would like to happen. Focus on those things. Take your mind off things that you cannot control. You cannot decide how life happens. Life will happen the way it wants.
And that should not scare or worry you. Just pay attention. Learn what you need to learn from the events taking place. Protect yourself if, you have to. Take care of your life. Pivot your life away from things you don’t approve. That is your responsibility. To ensure that you lead your life in the right path. That you make the right decisions. Decisions that make you a better person. Decisions that bring progress. Decisions that recognize the human dignity of other people. Decisions that create respectable environments. Make the right decisions. Decisions that help you identify things that you no longer need. Things that you have over grown. Decisions that put you in charge and force you to make uncomfortable moves. Moves that create positive milestones for you. Moves that make you live free of fear. Name the change.
Attaining the right self-improvement is all about you. You putting your life into perspective. And come up with a choice. Look at the various options you can be and decide, which option best suits you. You have an opportunity to make self-improvement of the year. You have time to identify the area in your life you need to improve. You are alive now. Do things that the living do. For example, conscious people decide. Living people choose. Living people choose their attitude. Sane people use common sense. People that are aware enjoy being alive. They form the right partnerships. They break up with wrong people. They move out of abusive people or environments. They take charge. Living people achieve dreams. And if your dream is self-improvement, you will have self-improvement. Just decide what you would like to change. Identify traits that you want to let go.
Things that are no longer serving you. Things that are working against you. Get rid of those things. Commit to become a better person. Solve your personal problems. Live aware. Respect other people. Practice your rights correctly. Stop interfering with other people’s peaceful environments. Don’t be the person that disrupts order. Someone that makes noise for other people. Someone that does not live peacefully with other people. You always want to get in the way of other people. Get over these bad behaviors. Stop irritating other people. Find your self-improvement. Be a good human being. Live in your truth. Cleanse your mind of prejudice. Find knowledge. Stop talking about people you don’t know. Go for self-improvement of the year. Improve yourself. Make yourself better. Clean your environment. Clean your heart. Live free.
